Huge storm

After dinner, the sunset was magnificent and we thought that in 2 hours we would be in Amarillo.

 

We did not count with the huge storm we encountered on the way. We were very happy we were in the car. On the bike it would have been very dangerous. 

Paula was able to do a search on the storm and we did not like what we saw ...

 

 

We eventually had to take shelter due to the hail. We were not alone. Every car and truck on the 287 was looking to hide.

 

The storm eventually passed and we made our way slowly to Amarillo.
